Art-Ventures

Ages 6 - 9; Ages 10 - 16

Students in this class will be exposed to a variety of age appropriate art activities, from paper crafts to painting and everything in between!

Making a Scene

Ages 5 - 12

Join Treena Decker, who has more than 25 years acting experience, in this exciting program. Theatre is an excellent way for children to express themselves in a safe environment and helps build self-confidence!

Sew Easy: Youth Sewing

Ages 8 - 12; Ages 13 - 18

In this class students will be introduced to and practice basic sewing techniques. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine if they have access to one; however basic sewing machines are available.

Youth Fabric Camp

Ages 8 - 15

In this class participants will dye and decorate the fabrics that they work with to complete a quilt as time permits. Participants should have some sewing experience and be confident using a sewing machine.

*Please pick up a supply list when registering.Price includes three metres of fabric.

Winter Vacation Camps (ages 9-12)

Ages 6 - 12

These camps are tailored to children on winter vacation! Keep your child active and engaged during this time of year with winter and holiday themed activities, games and crafts!

Please pack a healthy, nut-free lunch and two snacks for all camps

Babysitter's Course

Ages 11+

During this Red Cross course you will fain the confidence to succeed in your role as a babysitter. You will learn how to feed and change an infant, simple meal preparation, child friendly games, and how to prevent injuries and handle emergencies.

A written examination is part of this certification

Home Alone

Ages 10+

The Canada Safety Council Home Alone program is designed to provide youth with the necessary skils and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time through discussions, problem solving, role-playing and demonstrations.
