This is a great way for new players to get comfortable on the ice and with the rules of this Canadian staple, with no contact. Some ice times will consist of scrimmages while others consist of organized games. First Timer’s is a non-contact. Full gear is required and individuals must be 18 years or older.
Learn or brush up on basic sewing techniques while becoming familiar with your machine in this class. Bring along a sewing machine that has been hidden away; now is the time to learn to use it! projects are provided to start with for beginners, while those already comfortable with sewing can work on a project of their choice with the support of an instructor.
Beginner sewers should pick up a supply list when registering. If you already have some sewing experience please come with a pattern/project in mind and bring all the supplies needed.
in this course you will learn of Italic style calligraphy. This includes upper case and lower case. Instruction will include tips and tricks to proper spacing, lettering styles, sizes and if time permits other styles or projects will be explored.
Please note that calligraphy requires practise so take-home projects will be given. Please pick up a supply list when registering.
This orientation is a great first step to gaining your Fabric Arts Membership. This orienation will get you comfortable with room procedures, introduce you to safe handling of materials, and get you creating your own masterpieces.
